Charming Home Tour ~ Buckets of Burlap

You know that feeling when you see a picture in a magazine or on a blog and your heart skips a beat and makes you stop to catch your breath? That’s how I felt the first time I saw a glimpse of Becky’s inspiring home over at Buckets of Burlap. I love her pretty yet practical style and I have a feeling you’re going to fall in love too, if you haven’t visited her blog before.

Farmhouse Living RoomBecky has a flair for mixing textures, as you can easily see here in her living room. A nubby rug, a lobster cage turned coffee table, large gorgeous tassels on a blanket, and the smooth cool of colored glass on the sofa table.

Blue Shabby Chic CabinetMore texture is revealed in this blue chippy cabinet. Becky recently painted the inside, which looks fabulous with all those yummy white dishes!

Farmhouse sink with burlap skirtHere’s the farmhouse sink that took Pinterest by storm! I’ve seen it pinned a gazillion times so there’s probably a good chance you’ve seen it over there. Love the skirt and the posts that frame either side!

Farmhouse White KitchenAnd here’s the kitchen where you’ll find that famous sink. The kitchen island and hoosier cabinet in the corner are equally as impressive as Becky’s sink.

Vintage White Farmhouse Dining RoomNext to the kitchen is Becky’s beautiful dining room. She makes great use of architectural details throughout her home, like the old door propped against the wall.

Shabby Chic Farmhouse BedroomWeathered texture makes its appearance in Becky’s master bedroom with a unique headboard. I love that the rusticity of the wooden headboard plays off the soft ruffles of the white bed. It’s those unexpected pairings that make a room interesting and appealing.

Herb Potting BenchOutside on the deck, Becky has a designated area for potting herbs and flowers, and she has quite the flower garden on her beautiful property.

Al Fresco DiningOnce she’s done with her gardening, Becky can enjoy dinner and expansive views while dining al fresco. The mason jars suspended in a wire basket hold small votive candles to light up the night.

DIY Wooden CrossSince it’s Sunday, I’m also showing you Becky’s recent cross project made from reclaimed wood. A sprig of thyme adds softness and a touch of green.

I could go on and on about Becky’s vintage farmhouse style, but I’d rather have you go visit her blog at Buckets of Burlap and see for yourself what all she has to offer!

  1. Good Morning Jennifer,
This is a wonderful house with so many great details. I came across her blog one day by chance. It is something very nice to look at on this very rainy Sunday morning. Despite the rain the kitties and me will be enjoying the porch today. Have a wonderful day.

Just a quick question for you. How can have my blog name and address show up when I write a comment to you. I also notice that my picture does not show. Let me know, thanks.
