Charming Home Tour ~ Cuckoo 4 Design

If someone asked me to describe Julia’s home from Cuckoo 4 Design in just one word, it would be gorgeous … or inspirational … or design-savvy … or, well let’s face it. I can’t describe her decor style in just one word because it’s fabulous. I love her creativity and use of color and I think you’re going to love this charming home as much as I do.

Eclectic Living Room filled with color and inspirationJulia infuses splashes of color throughout her living room, and there’s an air of elegance that’s refreshing. The glitter disco ball on the coffee table shelf adds a bit of unexpected fun and bling. The new rug provides geometric interest.

Traditional style living room with geometric printsJulia recently painted her fireplace and I think she chose the perfect color.

Geometric prints add depth to this neutral room.

Unique crosses decorate a single wall in the hallwayCan you tell Julia loves strong patterns?

The black crosses add whimsy to the home’s hallway.

Hallway closet painted in fun black and white cross patternHere’s a fun twist for you. The hallway closet has the reverse color of the cross pattern you see in the hallway itself. So clever and unexpected. I love when home design surprises me!

Bright traditional kitchenA fun graphic print covers the valance above the window, while a globe light with a hexagonal pattern hangs over the corner sink with goose neck faucet. Julia has a bright and beautiful kitchen with a pretty tile back splash.

Color in a traditional kitchen with a modern emphasisColor really stands out when you pair a bright splash with a neutral backdrop.

The coral color of the ice bucket is repeated in the dish towel hanging from the stove.

Powder room with diagonal stripes and gold polka dots. See the full home tour!Julia’s powder room shows her great sense of style.

Diagonal stripes and a gold and white polka dot towel create visual interest.

Note the geometric pattern in the frame of the mirror.

Traditional Master BedroomJulia’s master bedroom is worthy of a 5-star hotel.

A comfy bed is flanked by a creamy settee with tufted arms.

Overhead, a glamorous chandelier is the cherry on top!

Charming Girl's BedroomFresh stripes, patterned pillows, and a fuzzy throw create a cozy bed in the girl’s bedroom. The faux chandelier is a genius touch.

Colorful Boy's BedroomVivid colors in Julia’s son’s bedroom complement the gray-striped walls perfectly.

A chevron throw and flag bunting add the quintessential geometric patterns.

Outdoor Hammock in a Backyard GardenWould you like to curl up on Julia’s garden hammock with a good book?

Add a glass of iced tea and this is an irresistible spot!

Outdoor Cat EnclosureEven her kitties have a wonderful spot to enjoy the outdoors.

You won’t believe the outdoor cat enclosure that Julia built!
