Christmas Home Tour ~ Part Two

Last week I shared most of my Christmas home tour but I have a few more spaces to share with you. This week I’m joining another group of bloggers for a showcase of holiday homes. Be sure to visit the other homes for amazing inspiration … the schedule is at the end of this post. Special thanks to Jen Migonis of Migonis Home for organizing this tour!

Christmas Breakfast NookMy kitchen table is set and ready for Christmas breakfast.

Since the tile floor is green, I used mostly accents of red in the kitchen.

Christmas in a Farmhouse KitchenRed painted letters spell Fa La La against the built-in cupboard.

Ticking striped fabric in red creates a simple table runner.

Home Goods Christmas PitcherI found this Christmas pitcher at HomeGoods at a decent price.

Christmas Dishes from Home GoodsI fell in love with the little Christmas tree bowls, too.

They’re ready for a piping hot serving of Irish steel cut oatmeal.

Christmas Bowls from Home GoodsThe other side of the bowl has a holly and berry pattern on it.

Holly and Berry Christmas Pitcher from Home GoodsThe reverse side of the pitcher also has the holly and berry pattern on it.

It’s like getting 2 pitchers for the price of one!  It really adds holiday cheer to my kitchen.

Little Christmas Tree in Vintage Mixing BowlIn the corner by the cabinet, a Charlie Brown tree is snuggled into a vintage mixing bowl.

Farmhouse Kitchen decorated in red and white for ChristmasI shared this side of my kitchen, the working side, in last week’s Christmas home tour.

Elegant Christmas TablescapeLast week I also shared my gold and white dining room tablescape …

Farmhouse Dining Buffet Decorated for ChristmasBut I didn’t share my dining buffet decked out for the holidays.

Bottle Brush Christmas Tree in Ironstone Shaving CupMy dining room has a gold and white theme this year for Christmas.

Paper Clay Snowman and Glitter HouseSome of my favorite Christmas decorations are paper clay figures and glitter houses.

Paper Clay Snowman and Mercury Glass Votives at ChristmasI don’t know what it is about these figurines that I find so captivating.

Vintage Christmas SantaBut I just can’t seem to resist them.

Glitter Snowman with Glitter Putz HouseDo you have a favorite Christmas decoration?

Tin full of vintage Christmas ornamentsI guess anything will a little sparkle and shine catches my eye at Christmas.

It reminds me of sun sparkling off pure white snow.

Christmas Decorating in a Farmhouse BathroomIn the downstairs bathroom I kept the gold and white theme.

Shabby Chic Mirror Dressed in Holiday StyleA bottle brush wreath hangs against a vintage mirror draped with a rag garland.

Shabby Chic Christmas VignetteA smaller unadorned bottle brush wreath perches on the shelf below the mirror. A pair of silvery

candlesticks and small votives will create a romantic atmosphere for a relaxing bubble bath.

White Ironstone Bowl filled with Vintage Glass OrnamentsMy vintage ironstone bowl filled with glass ornaments sits atop a stack of worn books.

Vintage lace and a silvery star ties it all together.

Christmas Decorating in a Farmhouse BathroomCreamy poinsettias are my favorite.

Some time I’d like to decorate for Christmas using just poinsettias and greenery.

Christmas Decor in a Farmhouse Family RoomI showed you my farmhouse family room during last week’s Christmas tour.

Red Wagon filled with Vintage Christmas OrnamentsBut I didn’t share this little red wagon overflowing with vintage ornaments.

I’ve collected a lot of glass ornaments over the years.

Dough Bowl of Vintage Christmas OrnamentsI love unpacking them at Christmas time and admiring each one.

Vintage Glass Christmas OrnamentsI think about how many trees they’ve hung on and wonder about the celebrations they’ve seen.

Vintage Style Christmas Tree in a Circa 1875 FarmhouseMany of my ornaments hold special memories and I can’t part with them.

Some day I’ll hand them down to my children.

Vintage Style Christmas TreeBut for now they’ll remain content on my Christmas tree!

Thanks so much for visiting the second half of my holiday farmhouse home tour.

  1. I really like the flocked tree, perfect in you white home. The christmas pitcher and bowls look great for hot chocolate or a nice chowder. Wish I had a little red wagon….something to look out for now.

    1. Thanks so much, Mary. I passed on the bowls and pitcher the first time I saw them. I kept thinking about them and had to go back! Does that ever happen to you?

  2. It’s all so beautiful. Just a lovely winter feeling against all the white. Also, I absolutely love your kitchen cabinets. Merry Christmas and thank you for sharing your home with us.

  3. I love the gold and white theme. We’ve done blue, white, and silver for the last few years, and I think I’m ready for a change. The gold and white is perfect. I’m thinking maybe soft pink, gold, and white for our tree next year. You’ve inspired me. 🙂
I love the green tile in your kitchen. It adds a perfect pop of color, and it goes perfectly with the Christmas decor.
Thanks for the rest of the tour.
    Beth.
