Collection of Rustic Kitchens

Country style kitchens are popular but most people want modern conveniences in the kitchen.

So today I’m sharing a collection of rustic kitchens that give you the best of both worlds!

Take a tour of these kitchens I found at Houzz and let me know which one you like the most!

Painted cupboards pair up with a wood floor and rustic wood ceiling to create a country kitchen.

A modern range and plenty of work surfaces ensure an easy task for cooking great food!

Contemporary Kitchen with Rustic Touches

In this light-filled kitchen, modern cabinets surround a rustic kitchen island.

Dark wood ceilings and floors create drama in the room.

Would you like a kitchen with this much wood in it?

Big windows keep the room from becoming dark and dreary.

I love this kitchen. I love the mix of wood and creamy white.

And I adore the style of cabinet. The rustic wooden door adds charm of its own.

Who would’ve thought to pair wallpaper and a tin ceiling with rustic kitchen cabinets?

Cute little farm lights and galvanized metal stools complete the look.

What do you think? Is this rustic kitchen a yay or a nay?

Contemporary Kitchen with a Rustic Vibe

The first thing I noticed in this kitchen is the double stove and ovens.

To me, this is the perfect kitchen to work in with its conveniences and ample counter space.

Here’s the classic country kitchen, with a farmhouse sink and vintage range.

A bright and airy kitchen wears just a touch of rustic charm.

This small kitchen makes great use of space in tight quarters.

If you can roll elegance and rusticity into one space, this is the kitchen you’d create!

So many textures come together creating visual interest. I love this kitchen.

Finally, well worn green-painted cabinets take center stage in the midst of wooden counterparts.

I think this is a kitchen you’re either going to love or hate.

So what do you think of this collection of rustic kitchens? Do you have a favorite?

  1. My favourite is definitely the smaller kitchen by Atlanta architects but I would love the vintage range from the Denver architects kitchen. I found the others to be too dark for me. I am a person who needs a lot of natural light in the kitchen. I was hoping that I could swing a vintage range in our home that we just moved in to but it would not work in the kitchen…..perhaps in the cottage one day….LOL

  2. Thanks for posting these wooden wonder kitchens. The warmth of wood really makes a kitchen say “Home” to me. I love some of the popular whites, but they’ve become too overdone – all white everywhere, so this is a nice relief.

  3. I really like the Farmhouse kitchen by Berwyn Architects, but I also like the double stove in the contemporary kitchen. A girl can dream!
