DIY Boo Sign for Halloween

Although I love Halloween, I haven’t always done a lot of decorating for the spooky holiday. My idea of All Hallow’s Eve decor is to turn off the lights and set out a bunch of candles. Then I turn the TV onto the Halloween movie and watch Jamie Lee Curtis suffer through another night of torture. The mood for the evening of Tricks or Treats is set. But this year I decided to have a little fun and I created a DIY Boo sign for Halloween.

DIY Boo Sign for HalloweenSparkly BOO letters on script stamped canvases are super easy to make.

Let’s get started!

Supplies to make a Halloween BOO signGet 3 small canvasses – I found a packet of 3 at the craft store. Grab your wooden BOO letters, black acrylic paint, and black glitter paint if you want some sparkle, a script stamp, stamping paint, a hot glue gun, and small wooden easels to rest the letters on when done (I forgot to include the little easels in the photo). You can find all these supplies at your local craft store.

Paint ’em, decoupage ’em, or even leave them plain white.

Then hot glue the letters onto the canvases when dried.

Quick and easy, which is my favorite kind of project!

  1. Cute unscary craft idea. Im not a Halloween decorator at all, and we have never had a trick -or-treater. I guess when you live in the sticks that’s what happens,
