This past summer I ordered a dust ruffle from Joss and Main for one of the beds and would you believe I never bothered to put it on? Until today that is. The reason why I procrastinated is because I didn’t feel like lugging the heavy mattress off the bed to put the skirt on. I finally buckled up…

When I have time, I like to revisit some of my past projects on the blog – especially when it can save me time creating new ideas. Today I’m sharing frosted mason jar votives that I made a few years ago for my Christmas stairway. This easy DIY project was a hit on Pinterest so…

Happy Christmas Eve! Final preparations are underway here at the Zuri household for holiday festivities. As I think ahead to next year’s big event, I find myself thinking of nature inspired Christmas decorations. Photo by Neptune  I love the idea of using outdoor elements in Christmas decor – or any decorating for that matter….

Love it all.
I love the simplicity of it all Jennifer. No fuss and clutter, just beautiful useful pieces and a lovely touch with the white glasses like your grans. Don’t you love it when you find thrifty finds that remind you of a time in your own childhood.
Very fresh looking, Jennifer! Love the simplicity of your table setting. The book page runner is very creative. We are going to our daughter’s for Christmas day also. I still have no idea what we are having Christmas Eve, but it will just be myself, hubby and our son so I’ll keep it easy and simple.
Jennifer, I LOVE your touches of Christmas in your dining room. I need to work on mine today. I just may borrow a few of your ideas. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas, Gail

Love the green and white. I have lots of red this year so this gave me the idea to do some white with all of it on the table. I have lots of white so no excuse to do the same old boring thing I always do.

Simple and festive, Jennifer. I love it!
So soft and pretty. I love the simple decor and what a great idea to decorate each plate with a couple of bulbs. The green looks perfect against the neutrals.
It’s all so very pretty…love all of vintage ornaments that you have used.
