I’m so excited about today’s tour which features the home of my dear blogging friend Shannon of AKA Design. You might remember that I first featured Shannon’s house back in February of 2015. Well, Shannon has moved since then and I’m amazed at all she’s done with her new place! I think you’ll enjoy her…
Today’s charming home tour features a colorful cottage I found at Houzz. Â In fact, I found several homes over there that I want to showcase for you in the upcoming weeks, mixed in with some amazing blogger homes too! Â Houzz has a wonderful “embed” feature that allows you to share photos on your own site…
So happy to announce that we’ve got a special edition of Farmhouse Friday for you today!  We’re featuring our spring home tours and we all have a little something special to share. For me, that something special is the color coral. It’s not a color I normally choose, but I’ll explain how pops of coral came…
Are you ready for Christmas? All my shopping is done but I still need to wrap presents. For me, the joy of Christmas consists mostly of the festivities leading up to Christmas Day. Decorating, cooking, shopping for others – and of course, remembering the blessed birth of Jesus. I thought I was done decorating but…
Although it’s not officially fall, the autumn decorating season in the blogger world has begun! Last week I joined Taryn Whiteaker and a few other ladies for a DIY fall project. Today I’m joining a slightly larger group to share more seasonal decor. See how to create a vintage fall mantel with old brown bottles…
A few months ago I made some dropcloth curtains for the family room. While I thought myself quite clever for using dropcloth for the panels and twine for the tabs … the truth of the matter is … I don’t like them. I kept looking at them and thinking something was missing. Then it hit…

Beautiful white with pops of colour!!
Luv the vintage ornaments.
Merry Christmas.
Cheers, Gee
Love it all.
I love the simplicity of it all Jennifer. No fuss and clutter, just beautiful useful pieces and a lovely touch with the white glasses like your grans. Don’t you love it when you find thrifty finds that remind you of a time in your own childhood.
Very fresh looking, Jennifer! Love the simplicity of your table setting. The book page runner is very creative. We are going to our daughter’s for Christmas day also. I still have no idea what we are having Christmas Eve, but it will just be myself, hubby and our son so I’ll keep it easy and simple.
Jennifer, I LOVE your touches of Christmas in your dining room. I need to work on mine today. I just may borrow a few of your ideas. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas, Gail
It is all so pretty, I just love the vintage ornaments. Vintage ornaments come in the best colors.

Love the green and white. I have lots of red this year so this gave me the idea to do some white with all of it on the table. I have lots of white so no excuse to do the same old boring thing I always do.
Bliss
SO pretty! Love the book page runner idea. I’m impressed, you’re ready for Saturday already!
Simple and festive, Jennifer. I love it!
So soft and pretty. I love the simple decor and what a great idea to decorate each plate with a couple of bulbs. The green looks perfect against the neutrals.
It’s all so very pretty…love all of vintage ornaments that you have used.
Blessings,
Linda
