Spring Decor in the Bedroom

About a year ago I stepped into Amazing Grace, our local antiques store. The shop had been in business for a few years before I ever stepped across their threshold (don’t ask why it took so long … I don’t have an answer). Since that first visit, I’ve made several purchases … the prices are so reasonable! My fave purchase from Amazing Grace Antiques is my white bedroom dresser.

This little DREAM banner came in the mail yesterday.
I bought it on Etsy. I want to start making these little banners.
I love paper crafts. I just don’t have time to create them.
These little birds came home with me on recent shopping trip in Geneva.
The bottle on the right was made by Rosemary, whose blog you can visit at Villabarnes.
I discovered this numbered bottle in her booth at Kane County Flea Market.
I love the “old world” finish of Rosemary’s pieces.
Visit her blog and check out her Etsy shop while there.
She made this jewelry box, as well.
My hubby liked the bottle too. So much so, he dug up a bunch of old bottles for me.
He brought them all home from a local farmer’s old dumping spot.
The bottle on the left is my creation. I used a mix of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint colors.
Old White was used for the base coat, and then I dry brushed Paris Gray over it.
I used Mod Podge to apply the bluebird graphic that I found over at The Graphics Fairy.
The Happy Easter tag was a surprise included with the DREAM banner.
Now that my bedroom dresser is wearing some new bling …
Sweet Dreams are a sure thing.
