Vintage Painted Furniture at The Painted Drawer

One of my favorite decorating staples is vintage painted furniture. I’ve been painting furniture for years, but it wasn’t until a couple years ago that I found out about Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, thanks to several blogs that I’d been reading. Chalk Paint is a dream to use and is my favorite choice for painting vintage finds; it dries quickly, is easy to distress, and comes in beautiful colors. Someone who’s a master at beautifully painting furniture is one of my newest sponsors, Suzanne from The Painted Drawer.

Suzanne painted it in Florence. I think it would look perfect in my home.

Suzanne calls this the Daisy Dresser. I love the way she distressed it to bring out the flowers.

  1. Hi Jennifer,
I love that paint also! I wanted to stop by and let you know that we will soon be neighbors, Im moving to town in a few weeks. I rented a cute place. We will have to get together one of these days. I saw your scaffolding outside your place, glad you are almost done!
    Take care,
    Michelle

  2. Thanks for sharing these vintage painted pieces! I absolutely love the whole shabby chic look- which you made with the drawer that you painted! I’d love to have a ton of my cabinetry painted in a style similar to this, but I don’t really have the talent for this stuff!
