A Collection of 10 Dreamy Bedrooms

What is it about a 5-star hotel with its lush, comfy beds that makes us pay hundreds of dollars just to sleep there? The charm of a Bed and Breakfast with its cozy bedrooms also lures us to spend the weekend to relax and unwind. It’s the luxury of fine bedding, plump pillows, and a pretty decor that helps us de-stress from the cares of the world. So why not invest a little creativity into our own bedrooms to provide that same 5-star feeling of luxury? Today I’m sharing a collection of 10 dreamy bedrooms from Houzz to inspire you to fluff your nest.

A painted twig bed adds plenty of charm to this cottage style bedroom. Warm wood floors and pretty bedding with mixed patterns create a cozy retreat for catching a few zzz’s.

Talk about dreamy! A unique canopy and distressed furniture creates an eclectic bedroom.

Cheerful mismatched coverlets add fun and cottage appeal to a girl’s bedroom. My best childhood friend shared a room with her 2 sisters and their beds were lined up like this. Don’t tell … but we used to jump from one bed to the next to the next!

Red accents create a focal point in this dreamy bedroom with a dramatic canopy.

The vaulted ceiling and large windows create a feeling of spaciousness.

Farmhouse Bedroom

This historic style bedroom looks straight out of a Bed and Breakfast.

If you like primitive style, this bedroom is probably at the top of your list.

You don’t see a lot of bedrooms dressed in yellow … but why not add this cheery color to your bedroom?

It looks crisp and fresh and would surely brighten your day when you open your eyes in the morning.

Bedroom by Bronxville Interior Designers & Decorators Columbine Antiques & Decoration Ltd.

My favorite type of bedroom is one that’s tucked under the eaves.

A charming blue and white color scheme keeps this room uncluttered looking.

Painted planked walls offset the lacy, white bedspread.

This romantic bedroom holds a beautiful, vintage iron bed.

Bedroom by Morrison Landscape Architects & Landscape Designers Connie Cunningham Designs & B&B

Isn’t this a fun bedroom? I could see 2 sisters sharing a room like this, closing their curtains when they need a little privacy from their sibling. The mismatched quilts add fun color!

The good news about this dreamy bedroom is … you can sleep in it!  Make your reservations at the Gosherd Valley Cottage Bed and Breakfast just outside of historic Hermann, Missouri!

And finally, the last of our dreamy bedrooms in serene green.

Pretty bedding makes you want to crawl right in for a peaceful night’s slumber.

Which bedroom is your favorite?

  1. I can’t pick a favorite but the yellow bedroom may be a bit much for me. We are doing a guest room now that my daughter has moved out. These are great inspiration, Jennifer. Thanks!

  2. I really enjoyed your post, Jennifer. The photos are gorgeous! The Farmhouse Bedroom makes me want to just cozy right up on that bed and have a sweet night’s rest. So relaxing!

  3. I made a twig chair years ago and now you have inspired the wheels to churn on making a bed frame! I am somewhat intrigued with plywood floors and it looks like the floor in the cute blue and white room is made from various widths of plywood too! The window framing or maybe they are shutters? in the Primitive one is very interesting too- might be a way to make my small bsmt windows look a bit bigger…so many great details in all these pics thanks!
