An overhead view reveals the pattern of the rug against the blue of the sofa. A contemporary light fixture illuminates the Scandinavian-style cabin when the sun goes down. Ample windows make the best use of natural light during the day.

Another view from above shows the proximity of the dining area to the living area, creating a great room that is sure to please. Some great rooms are so expansive that they tend to feel cold, but this one is cozy and plenty of warmth is added with the amazing wood elements.

The kitchen wears a happy, dark green on the cabinets beneath a marble countertop and penny-tile backsplash. Washing dishes becomes an enjoyment with a view of the forest through the kitchen window.

Who wouldn’t enjoy sleeping in this bedroom tucked under such a beautiful ceiling in the Scandinavian-style cabin? You can imagine lying here in the dark with the glow of the moon shining through. Louvered doors provide convenient closet space under the eaves.

  1. Very nicely done. Love the bedroom and bathroom and colors in the kitchen. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen penny tile used as a backsplash. I like it. I will say though, I would need at least one kitchen cabinet lol. Beautiful cabin.
