Bold Color: Adventures in Decorating

Our days have been so gloomy lately, which is typical as we transition from winter to spring. I need to brighten things up on the blog with bold color decorating! Let me know what you think of the cheerful examples below.

Have you ever consumed a Grand Slam breakfast at one of the many Denny’s restaurants? They used a lot of bright orange in their decor like this dining banquette, because orange is supposed to increase your desire to eat.

I think most people prefer to keep their bedroom colors soft and subdued, but a bold color or two can look inviting and pretty.

  1. One dining room room had a blue corner cabinet which if it had been black would have been absolutely perfect- at least for me. Bright color is a new idea to try but for a traditionalist, sometimes it goes too far.
