Brooklyn Row House Tour

Let’s take a trip to the city and tour a Brooklyn Row House. If I ever lived in the city I thought it’d be fun to live in a row house on a pretty shaded street.

Inside you’ll find a charming white kitchen with country style.

White cabinets, dark counter tops, and dark diamond inserts in the white tile floor create a classic and appealing look.

There’s plenty of natural light despite the fact that homes are close together on the streets of Brooklyn.

I’ve always day dreamed about living in a city row house. I know I’d grow weary of the traffic and congestion, but a girl can dream.

  1. Being a small town girl, I’ve always dreamed of a row house too, with trees lining the street, the neighborly steps and porch outside the front door, twin flower pots and the black wrought-iron fence. This one, however, is a little stark in its decor for me. I would warm it up quite a bit. But the bones are definitely there and the stairway, the hardwoods and the kitchen are amazing.

  2. Well, I’m a country girl. So, I’ve never wanted to live in a row house, but I enjoyed visiting my daughter’s row house in DC and my brother’s in London. They were great places to visit. The thing that surprises me is there are no drapes on any of the windows. I don’t have many drapes in my house in the country, but I can’t believe they have no drapes living in the city.

  3. I agree i would like to just spend a little time in one and this one is a real lovely example of these old buildings. Lovely wood floors and fireplaces and a wonderful kitchen. Just give me a month in one for an unforgetable memory.
