Being a small town girl, I’ve always dreamed of a row house too, with trees lining the street, the neighborly steps and porch outside the front door, twin flower pots and the black wrought-iron fence. This one, however, is a little stark in its decor for me. I would warm it up quite a bit. But the bones are definitely there and the stairway, the hardwoods and the kitchen are amazing.

  3. Well, I’m a country girl. So, I’ve never wanted to live in a row house, but I enjoyed visiting my daughter’s row house in DC and my brother’s in London. They were great places to visit. The thing that surprises me is there are no drapes on any of the windows. I don’t have many drapes in my house in the country, but I can’t believe they have no drapes living in the city.

  4. I agree i would like to just spend a little time in one and this one is a real lovely example of these old buildings. Lovely wood floors and fireplaces and a wonderful kitchen. Just give me a month in one for an unforgetable memory.
