Latest Home Decorating Trends in Two Must-Have Books: A Giveaway

Today I have a special surprise for you! I’m giving away two must-have books to two people that feature the latest home decorating trends by interior designer, Amber Lewis. I first found her on Instagram and immediately fell in love with her casual, livable California style. Each of her books focuses on a certain aspect of decorating and are filled with amazing tips and advice. For a chance to win both books, simply leave a comment at the end of this post. Following is a preview of them. (This post contains affiliate links – see my privacy policy.)

Made for Living

Amber’s first book is Made for Living which shares how to develop a personal style using a layered and comfortable approach. Rather than replicate a room from a picture in a magazine, you’re taught to create your own style based on what you love.

The chapters in the 288-page book include:

  • The Power of Color
  • It’s All in the Details
  • Space and Flow
  • The Art of Styling.

Following are some of the photos of Amber’s amazing work that you’ll find throughout the book. You’ll notice that she enjoys using a subtle mix of patterns. The book isn’t just a coffee table book filled with pretty pictures, although there are several images that will capture your heart. There’s plenty of helpful information when Amber talks about paint colors, types of counter tops, how to mix pattern and color, and so much more.

Call It Home

As a thank you to everyone who reads my blog, I’m giving away another beautiful book on home decorating trends by Amber Lewis titled Call It Home. This is her second book and features eight homes that she’s designed, including her own. This book is also 288 pages in length and includes the following chapters:

  • All Good in the Neighborhood
  • Beachside Retreats
  • Mountain Getaways
  • My Very Own Home

In this book, Amber says that she feels our homes contribute to our quality of life. Perhaps this is the reason so many of us are drawn to decorating and creating spaces that make us feel happy and comfortable. I’ve always felt women have a strong sense of nesting – whether it’s manifested in creating pretty rooms, keeping things organized, or making sure our family feels happy and secure.

The homes in this book are all warm and inviting and cover a variety of topics like furniture scale, organization, and prioritizing projects. The photos are stunning and inspiring and are sure to give you plenty of ideas from the latest home decorating trends. And of course, the words on the pages provide insight and wisdom from Amber’s years of decorating and working with others.
