Today we’re touring a vintage home to enjoy its cool blues in a Horseshoe Beach house by M&P Design Group that sports eclectic style.

A coffered ceiling spreads its architecture above the soothing light blue living room with white trim. Blue and white always look so refreshing together – especially in a beach home!

The kitchen is mostly white but rich wood floors add warmth to the space to keep it looking homey and welcoming.

In case you’re not familiar with Horseshoe Beach, it’s a small fishing village located on the gulf side of Florida north of Tampa and almost directly west of Jacksonville.

An amazing fireplace grabs your eye when turning your attention to the dining room.

Beautiful architectural details are found throughout the Horseshoe Beach house. The staircase is simply amazing and I love its wooden banister.

Even the staircase spindles get a special touch.

A rope porthole mirror adorns the navy blue and white powder room with bead board.

  1. Never thought to paint my trim blue with white walls, but i do like that. Staircase is really pretty, thanks and have a great evening.

  2. What a cool home! There is so much creativity going on in its design and decor and it all works! THAT staircase! THAT coral chandelier! The wall art!! The chairs! (although the dining chairs did seem out of proportion to the table) The colors!!
How can such a “cool” home be so warm and inviting?? Genius design!
This Little town is about 90 minutes NW of me and is actually almost due West of Gainesville (Go Gators!) The current town has a sweet history. I’m sure it won’t remain a hidden jewel for much longer.

  3. Hmm! Well, I wouldn’t furnish it this way, but I like everything else about it, including the geographical location!
