Bedroom Fireplace: The Ultimate in Cozy Sleeping

A snowstorm is predicted for our area of the country, which will make all of us want to get snuggled in blankets with a cup of hot chocolate in hand. This cozy experience could be made even more enjoyable with a bedroom fireplace. Add a television or good book and who needs to even get out of bed during the storm? Here’s some beautiful bedrooms that would make a welcome retreat while Old Man Winter batters our area for the next 24 hours.

I’m completely head over heels in love with this pretty bedroom’s boulder fireplace. Despite its rusticity, the designer used feminine prints and decor in the English country-style room. Expansive French doors leading out to a sunroom is the icing on the cake. Perfection!

A cabin style retreat gets its cozy appeal through the use of natural wood and floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace. A wagon wheel chandelier adds to the western vibe of a rustic bedroom that looks like it should be nestled in a mountain range.

A vaulted wood ceiling is painted white in an eclectic bedroom that features a marble fireplace adorned with a large gold mirror. Plenty of firewood is tucked in nearby baskets to keep the home fires burning.

Off-centered fireplaces can look odd in any room, but this one incorporates the angles of the ceiling to determine the lines of the fireplace in the room. It’s cozy and appealing.

This bedroom has it all – the wood ceiling, shiplap and custom trim, a canopy-style iron bed, fireplace, and mullioned windows with an amazing view of the mountains!

I love the airy appeal of this white and creamy bedroom that’s grounded with a wood floor. A colorful rug complements the artwork colors above the mantel.

Here’s another rustic bedroom with amazing winter views out the window. I could hunker down during the storm in this room, anytime. It’d be comforting to watch the snow fall while the fire is crackling.

  1. I would LOVE to have a fireplace in our bedroom just no wall space for it. The good news is we have sliding doors that allow us to watch my birds and squirrel friends. Congrats on the new blog- it’s going to be so enjoyable!

  2. I loved them all. This really helped me get some ideas on what chairs are for the bedroom and lamps for lighting. I need a chair for reading in that will hold 2 pups and myself as they want to be by my side. Was there a special announcement? Did I miss something?
Good inspiration for a cold snowy day. Thanks Jennifer!

  3. Absolutely gorgeous rooms! Loved them all, of course, but my two favorites were the one opening up to the sunroom and the last one with the view of the mountains. Who wouldn’t love to curl up in any of these rooms?

  4. All are special but I like number 7 the best. A few years back whilst travelling in Canada we stayed in a large apartment in Canmore. There were two fireplaces including one in the master bedroom. In the week we were there it began snowing so for these Australians it was just magical. It’s 37 degrees Celsius here right now and I’ve turned the aircon down yet again hence I would love to be back in that bedroom in front of the fire watching the snow fall. What do they say about the grass being greener? 😀
