Charming Home Tour ~ A Thoughtful Place

The sun is finally shining here in Illinois after a very rainy start to the summer! It only seems apropos that today’s charming home feature hails from sunny Southern California! Courtney over at A Thoughtful Place is one lucky girl with a beautiful home that’s bright and cheery.

Courtney’s living room is comfortable and stylish, proving that you can have both form and function! Gray curtains pick up the gray stripes from the floor below, while pink flowers add a soft touch of feminine color.

 

A beautiful white kitchen is set off beautifully with rich, wood floors. I’m a huge fan of pairing white and wood together. A glass-front cabinet reveals a hint of color behind the door.

 

Geometrics appear in the dining room on the striped curtains and the unique light fixture.

 

Courtney likes to set a simple yet pretty table, like this spring tablescape.

 

Plenty of natural light pours into Courtney’s family room. Whimsical numbered pillows pair with floral and chevron pillows, while artwork on the wall adds additional color.

 

Courtney made the upholstered headboard in her master bedroom, set against a patterned wall in gray and white.

 

Another upholstered headboard makes an appearance in her daughter’s colorful bedroom. I love the monogrammed pillow with pom pom trim.

 

Her son’s bedroom wears a pleasing mix of blue and green.

 

Courtney gave the kids’ bathroom a makeover and it turned out beautifully. She paid careful attention to detail with a gorgeous vanity and hardware!
