Charming Home Tour ~ Adventures in Decorating

If you haven’t yet experienced the great pleasure of touring Becca’s charming home over at Adventures in Decorating, then get ready for some serious eye candy! When I first discovered Becca’s blog, she was living in South Carolina. Her home was beautiful then, and dare I say, it’s even prettier now that she’s living in Virginia! In a little over a year she’s made some amazing transformations to her new home and I’m in awe every time I see her place.

Fall Decorating in a Great RoomBecca’s great room is off the kitchen and it’s light and airy with plenty of windows. Gorgeous buffalo check curtains in neutral colors spill onto the hardwood flooring. Notice the attention to detail in this room, with a textured rug underfoot, a lovely fireplace, soft textiles throughout the room, and an elegant chandelier keeping watch over it all.

Light and Airy White KitchenBecca’s white kitchen is pretty spectacular! She painted the cabinets white after moving in and hung a few open shelves. Stunning chandeliers were installed over the dining table and kitchen island. Becca has such a great eye for design. Her kitchen is one of my favorites!

Customized kitchen islandHere’s a close-up view of the kitchen island. It was a standard, builder-grade island that Becca cleverly customized to give it a unique look all its own!

Light and Breezy SunroomJust beyond the kitchen is Becca’s cheery sunroom. I love the use of white throughout the house. It keeps the decor looking fresh and bright. A vaulted ceiling creates the look of open space in this room.

Traditional dining room decorated for fallBecca’s dining room is decorated for fall. The use of soft colors and touches of white unify the rooms throughout, making it easier for your eye to flow from one room to the next.

Sitting Room or DenA charming sitting room invites you to step inside and relax. Becca and her husband added the mantel after moving in. An elegant fern takes center stage in front of the fireplace.

Traditional Master BedroomThis photo of the master bedroom is from Becca’s previous home. Soft colors and textiles are woven throughout the room. I’m anxious to see her new master once she’s ready to reveal it on her blog!

Blue and White BathroomThis bathroom is also from Becca’s former home, and it echoes her signature decorating style.

Traditional Home ExteriorAnd here’s the exterior of Becca’s new, charming home in Virginia. Be sure to visit her at Adventures in Decorating so you can follow along on her journey to transform this pretty house into a lovely home!
