Charming Home Tour ~ Country Kitty

Charming Home Series, cottage style, home decor, home tour, Uncategorized August 31, 2014

Words cannot express my excitement about today’s charming home tour! When I think of Country Kitty‘s dwelling spaces the words enchanting, light-filled, playful, and of course charming all come to mind. Federica was born and raised in Italy and now currently lives in England with her hubby and kitties. I do hope you’ll visit her, but be prepared to stay a while. She shares so many pretty things on her blog. I know you’re going to fall in love with her just like I did!

Country Scandinavian Style KitchenLet’s start the charming home tour in the kitchen for a change. I just adore Federica’s kitchen.

Oversized wooden knobs match the counter tops. Lots of white keeps the space bright and cheery.

Pops of red add fun and whimsy in this delightful kitchen.

Country Style Kitchen in EnglandHere’s the working side of the kitchen. Do you see that refrigerator?

Hubby and I need to buy a new one this year and I would love to have one just like that.

Simple Country Style Dining RoomFederica’s dining room is pretty and free of clutter.

Cute pink mugs in the hutch mimic the pink of the table runner. So pretty!

Scandinavian Style Living Room in White and RedMore light-filled space creates a cheery feeling in Federica’s living room.

She makes her own pillows and is quite the talented seamstress.

What a great way to add charming personal touches in the home.

Light and airy country style bathroomThe family bathroom in Federica’s charming home is simple and pretty.

I love the use of  the slatted wood on the outside of the tub.

Scandinavian Style Bedroom in WhiteA cute kitty snuggles on the cottage style bed in the bedroom.

Summer in a Backyard England GardenStepping outside, you’ll see that Federica’s design skills extend beyond home decor.

Birds handcrafted from fabric at Country KittyShe’s also quite the crafter. Federica made this trio of birds for a friend’s wedding.

Aren’t they adorable? Federica is re-opening her Etsy store on September 8th. Can’t wait!

Christmas Tree At Country KittyI know it’s a little early for Christmas, but I really wanted you to see Federica’s tree.

Simple and beautiful. Not too fussy but filled with quaint charm.

Front Exterior and Garden of England HomeThe exterior of this charming home is just as appealing as the interior.

The beautiful countryside of EnglandWhat I truly love about Federica’s blog is the adventures she takes you on.

She shared photos of a recent walk through the countryside of England.

Tour of Padova, ItalyAnother adventure included a trip to her home town of Padova, Italy.

Federica’s blog is written in both English and Italian, so no need for some of us to use the translation feature.

A walk in the country with Federica from County Kitty. What really shines through on Federica’s blog is her sweet spirit.

I’m so glad I stumbled across her blog and so honored that she allowed me to share her talent with you.

So pretty and light! Such a contrast to many of the English homes of my relatives – they all tended towards being dark in tone.

Love everything about it. Bright, fresh and not cluttered! I find some homes are overly accessorized…this was a nice change from all that. Beautiful!
