Christmas in the Kitchen

In just 16 days we’ll be celebrating Christmas!  I haven’t bought a single gift yet. Have you? I need to do some serious shopping soon!  I’ll blame my lack of present shopping on the fact that I’ve been busy decking the halls for Christmas. Today I’m joining a group of bloggers for the inaugural “All Through the House” tour. Each day this week a group shares the Christmas details of their home!  Today it’s all about Christmas in the kitchen!  You can see the rest of the blogger rooms by following the links at the end of this post.

Christmas in the KitchenIn December, my kitchen is all about cooking and baking. I remember when I was younger my mother and I would bake cookies together and freeze them so the family would have plenty to snack on through the holidays. Spritz cookies were my favorite and I always enjoyed decorating them.

Christmas in the KitchenI’ve made a few slight decorating changes in my kitchen since I shared my Christmas home tour last week. I added wooden stars in the trio of windows above my kitchen sink.

Tiered Cupcake Stand filled with Vintage Christmas OrnamentsI didn’t hang any of them on my Christmas tree this year, but I still wanted them out on display.

Kitchen Sideboard Decorated for ChristmasI rearranged a few Christmas items on my kitchen sideboard.

Christmas in the KitchenI swapped out my lamb sign on the shelf for a Milk and Cream farmhouse sign.

Christmas in a Farmhouse KitchenI like to use a bit of red in my white farmhouse kitchen. I think I’m finally done decorating and rearranging for the holidays.
