Christmas Wreath Ideas

Christmas, holiday December 23, 2014

Are you having company for Christmas and still don’t have a wreath for your front door or fireplace mantel? I’ve rounded up a wide variety of Christmas wreath ideas for you … some are mine, some are from friends, and a few are from the interior design pros. Links to the source of each wreath are included so you can see more inspiration and pin from the original source.

Pine Cone Christmas WreathA frosted pine cone wreath hangs on my back door.

Pine Cone Christmas WreathWreaths can be expensive, but I found this wreath from Michael’s at half price.

Traditional Wreath on East Coast DoorA traditional evergreen wreath hangs on the beautiful blue door of my friend Danielle’s house at Finding Silver Pennies. I love her beautiful east coast home and she is such a sweetheart.

Rustic Jingle Bell WreathMy very artistic friend Alice has a rustic jingle bell wreath adorning her front porch chair.

You can see more of her holiday decor at Thoughts from Alice.

I found this nature inspired Christmas wreath at Houzz.

I don’t know which I like more … the wreath, or the doors it’s hanging on!

DIY Boxwood Christmas WreathsGot a few spare minutes? You can make these boxwood Christmas wreaths in a jiffy.

You can use any type of greenery … snip a few branches from your outdoor evergreens to make them.

I love this layered Christmas wreath from Houzz, with its star-shaped pine cone wreath atop the evergreens. A simple star finishes off the look. I never thought to layer wreaths.

Boxwood Berry WreathJulie at Redhead Can Decorate hangs a gorgeous boxwood and berry wreath in her kitchen.

I love how the overhead light accentuates it.

Duster Wreath by Craftberry BushWould you believe this wreath is made of dusters from the Dollar Store? It’s true!

The amazingly artistic Lucy from Craftberry Bush made it. It’s so beautiful!

A mixed greens wreath from Houzz is elegant and festive.

Vintage Christmas Mantel with White Christmas WreathIf you like a white wreath, I found this vintage style wreath at Joann Fabrics for under $10.

I added a few sparkly snowflakes by simply wedging them between the branches.

No need to tie them on or secure them permanently. Quick and easy!

Silver and Green Christmas WreathA silver and green wreath from Heather at Setting for Four has rustic touches.

I love the mix of sparkly silver with rustic pine cones and twig balls.

The simple style of this Scandinavian wreath is so pretty.

The vignette of candles and a shabby window frames it beautifully.

You still have time to add any of these Christmas wreath ideas to your home before the big day!
