This time of year makes me sometimes wish I was a bear who could hibernate and ignore winter altogether. Since I can’t do that, I can at least create a cozy bed to curl up in. If you feel the same way, you might enjoy this collection of cozy bedrooms dressed in warm colors.
Red is the predominant color in the bedroom above and always adds warmth to any space. The mix of colors and patterns adds even more coziness to the space.
The bedroom below is my favorite one of the day. First, I love the mix of wood beams with painted paneling. Second, the vintage iron bed with quilts in warm colors is charming and appealing. And finally, the wood floors are rich and beautiful.
Brown is always a safe choice if you want a warm-looking room. Add a faux fur throw and patterned rug to amplify the warmth of the space.
A cabin-style bedroom pairs red with natural, horizontal wood paneling for cozy appeal. It’s easy to imagine yourself falling asleep to a soft snowfall outside, and then awakening to see a beautiful blanket of snow in the morning. This is my second favorite today’s collection of cozy bedrooms. Maybe I’m just attracted to the metal beds.
Natural siding always feels warm in a room and its texture makes the space all the more interesting. Here, a four-poster bed takes advantage of the ceiling height.
To help bring the height of the ceiling down, this bedroom employs floating beams and a suspended chandelier. Neutral warm tones and a faux fur rug make the room dreamy for a winter’s night.
Look at this gorgeously rustic ceiling! No matter what color palette you use, this room would be warm and inviting. And in the morning, head on out to the balcony to enjoy your coffee and the views. Actually, I think this one is my favorite. It’s hard to choose!
Here’s another interesting ceiling treatment. I used to have a four-poster bed similar to this but I felt it was too tall when I moved into our old house with lower ceilings. I’m currently looking for a new bed. I’m giving mine to my granddaughter because she’s been begging for a bigger bed. She doesn’t know it yet though. I’m telling her at Christmas.
Gray tends to be a cooler color, but it looks warm in this space due to the board and batten walls and striped brown and gray bedding. I like the use of patterns with the pillows and upholstered headboard.
If you’re attracted to warm colors, I think you’ll love this green, gold, and red craftsman-style bedroom.
An upholstered, leather headboard is tucked into built-in cabinetry, creating a dreamy space. Linen pillow shams in warm, neutral tones complete the space.
Cozy bedrooms don’t need to be darker to be warm and inviting. Creamy tones look beautiful in varying shades.
Do any of these cozy bedrooms stand out to you? It’s hard to choose just one favorite!
