Green is closely associated with nature and is used as a healing color in color therapy. Also, green strikes the eye in such a way that it requires no adjustment. Red, on the other hand, is another story. So it makes sense that either green or blue or perfect color choices for creating a Zen bedroom.

  1. All these bedrooms are lovely. My master has had medium blue walls for a long time and I still love the color. It’s an east facing bedroom so gets wonderful morning light. I use a pale yellow coverlet spring and summer with pillows having blues, yellows and a bit of green. All trim is white. It’s my cozy space.

  2. What a beautiful assortment of bedrooms, I love that green in the last one, so pale and pretty.

  3. I’ve long loved the combo of green and blue and I agree that they are calming in the right shades. Definitely nature’s neutrals! These are gorgeous rooms!
