Tin ceilings are often found in Victorian homes and provide a wonderful vintage vibe. I have wallpaper on my dining room ceiling that mimics the pattern of tin. The realtor actually told me it was tin but we felt it and realized it was wallpaper.

I have a white pressed tin ceiling in my farmhouse and I love it! It like living inside a candy box!
Moved to a new house earlier this year. I have a standard 8 foot ceiling and need to move my dining room fixture over a couple of feet. Considering coming up with a decorative moulding to cover the old footprint of the fixture (boob light – what were they thinking?) rather than redoing the entire ceiling. Something rectangular. Have you ever seen anything like that?
I love the vaulted and beamed ceiling. Mainly because it is what I envision for my combo dining room and kitchen ceiling. Of course, that will only happen if someone gives me the money for the construction with the stipulation that I have to use it on my current home.
It is hard to pick a favorite, they are all so beautiful but i certainly would love to have at least one.
