A little green and white pair together this year to set the scene for a farmhouse holiday dinner.
Lately I feel like every Sunday I say how much I love today’s home tour. Today is no different. I’m in love with the charming Maryland farmhouse that we’re going to tour. The interior decor is giving me ideas for my own home. Every tour I hope that you too, walk away with ideas and…
In our busy world, it’s easy to grab your dinner and have a seat on the couch to dine while watching the evening news (or in my case, taped episodes of Judge Judy). But maybe the world would be a better place if we consistently enjoyed a small space dining area where meals are intimate…
Here we go again! A couple weeks ago we painted the family room a dark gray color, which of course led to a need for a new dining room color. Isn’t that the way it goes at home? One change in one room leads to another change in another room. Say hello to Benjamin Moore’s…
Today’s home tour is a special one for me. Laura’s blog at Top This Top That was one of the first I started reading and as I scoured through her blog for photos to feature today, I was amazed all over again at the beautiful work she’s done with her home. Â Her recent kitchen transformation…
Over the years I find that I’m getting pickier when it comes to scouring our local flea market. I’m not really sure why that is, but our monthly jaunt to the market is resulting in me spending less money … which is a good thing. But during a recent treasure hunting episode, a dark farmhouse…
Lately I’m becoming more and more drawn to anything made with book pages! Within minutes the words on a book’s page take you to another place and time. The musty smell of an old book with an elegant cover is a sensory pleasure I’ll always treasure. And when you’re done with a book, you can…

Love it all.
I love the simplicity of it all Jennifer. No fuss and clutter, just beautiful useful pieces and a lovely touch with the white glasses like your grans. Don’t you love it when you find thrifty finds that remind you of a time in your own childhood.
Very fresh looking, Jennifer! Love the simplicity of your table setting. The book page runner is very creative. We are going to our daughter’s for Christmas day also. I still have no idea what we are having Christmas Eve, but it will just be myself, hubby and our son so I’ll keep it easy and simple.
Jennifer, I LOVE your touches of Christmas in your dining room. I need to work on mine today. I just may borrow a few of your ideas. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas, Gail
It is all so pretty, I just love the vintage ornaments. Vintage ornaments come in the best colors.

Love the green and white. I have lots of red this year so this gave me the idea to do some white with all of it on the table. I have lots of white so no excuse to do the same old boring thing I always do.

SO pretty! Love the book page runner idea. I’m impressed, you’re ready for Saturday already!
Simple and festive, Jennifer. I love it!
So soft and pretty. I love the simple decor and what a great idea to decorate each plate with a couple of bulbs. The green looks perfect against the neutrals.
It’s all so very pretty…love all of vintage ornaments that you have used.
Blessings,
Linda
