Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas! Today you can enjoy a round-up of eight beautiful Christmas trees from King of Christmas. After selecting a new flocked tree this year, I settled upon a bronze and neutral Christmas tree theme. (This post is sponsored by King of Christmas and contains affiliate links.) I ordered the King Flock…
Another year of decorating, entertaining, and cooking has come and gone. It’s always fun to look back on the year and see how much was accomplished. I’m joining my blogging friends to share our top ten projects, resulting in the best of 2016! I’d like to give a shout-out to Cami at Tidbits for organizing…
Another beautiful home awaits your eager eyes today! Fox Hollow Cottage is another of the first home decor blogs I started reading. I have always loved Shannon’s easy breezy style with her light-filled spaces and fabulous DIY projects. Her charming home is filled with her personality and great style. A welcoming front door flanked by…
Country style decorating has been around a long time. My sister introduced it to me many years ago and I still love it today. Country decorating no longer just means stuffed teddy bears and handmade quilts. It really covers a variety of styles from rustic to romantic to modern to shabby chic. Country style means…

I think think you’ll find that a “less is more” approach can end up making a bigger visual impact. Photo by Julie Ranee Photography The predominantly white kitchen is the perfect backdrop…
Before we had modern conveniences, the American kitchen wasn’t meant as a gathering spot for entertaining family and friends. Love it all.
I love the simplicity of it all Jennifer. No fuss and clutter, just beautiful useful pieces and a lovely touch with the white glasses like your grans. Don’t you love it when you find thrifty finds that remind you of a time in your own childhood.
Very fresh looking, Jennifer! Love the simplicity of your table setting. The book page runner is very creative. We are going to our daughter’s for Christmas day also. I still have no idea what we are having Christmas Eve, but it will just be myself, hubby and our son so I’ll keep it easy and simple.
Jennifer, I LOVE your touches of Christmas in your dining room. I need to work on mine today. I just may borrow a few of your ideas. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas, Gail

Love the green and white. I have lots of red this year so this gave me the idea to do some white with all of it on the table. I have lots of white so no excuse to do the same old boring thing I always do.

SO pretty! Love the book page runner idea. I’m impressed, you’re ready for Saturday already!
Simple and festive, Jennifer. I love it!
So soft and pretty. I love the simple decor and what a great idea to decorate each plate with a couple of bulbs. The green looks perfect against the neutrals.
It’s all so very pretty…love all of vintage ornaments that you have used.
