Today’s charming home tour is filled with warm and cozy appeal. You’ll find texture and vintage treasures within the walls of Randolph Cottage. Built by Bret Franks Construction, this endearing charmer is part of the Southern Living Plan Collection. The home is decorated by Park Hill Home. This is such a beautiful home, I think…
Welcome to my holiday home and the reveal of this year’s modern country Christmas tree. Note that I used the singular version of “tree.” In the past I’ve had at least two trees, sometimes three. This year, it’s just one. I’m committed to keeping my decorations minimal and simple in order to reduce some of…
Spring is the season of pastels … soft color, soft sunlight, and the wakening of the world from its slumber. The faint hues of spring prepare us for the riotous smorgasboard of colors in the summer. I love spring and everything about it! Even the gentle rains that freshen the earth. An annual springtime ritual of…
This post is sponsored by Antique Farm House, but all opinions are my own. After spending lots of time outdoors during the summer, do you find yourself in nesting mode once Fall rolls around? Â The combination of cooler weather and shorter days always puts me in the mood to make things cozy inside. I’m sure…
Bring a bit of nostalgia into your home this holiday with handmade style Christmas ornaments. I think for most of us, handmade ornaments remind us of our youth. We’d make ornaments in art class or at home with parents. Remember that sense of pride you felt hanging your handmade ornament on the tree? Earlier this…
Many years ago my parents gave me a kitchen island, without kitchen stools, as a housewarming gift. I had just purchased my own home as a single mom of three school-aged children. Sure, I’d bought a home with my first husband, but this home (my current home) was my very own. Being a single parent…

Love it all.
I love the simplicity of it all Jennifer. No fuss and clutter, just beautiful useful pieces and a lovely touch with the white glasses like your grans. Don’t you love it when you find thrifty finds that remind you of a time in your own childhood.
Very fresh looking, Jennifer! Love the simplicity of your table setting. The book page runner is very creative. We are going to our daughter’s for Christmas day also. I still have no idea what we are having Christmas Eve, but it will just be myself, hubby and our son so I’ll keep it easy and simple.
Jennifer, I LOVE your touches of Christmas in your dining room. I need to work on mine today. I just may borrow a few of your ideas. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas, Gail

Love the green and white. I have lots of red this year so this gave me the idea to do some white with all of it on the table. I have lots of white so no excuse to do the same old boring thing I always do.
Bliss
SO pretty! Love the book page runner idea. I’m impressed, you’re ready for Saturday already!
Simple and festive, Jennifer. I love it!
So soft and pretty. I love the simple decor and what a great idea to decorate each plate with a couple of bulbs. The green looks perfect against the neutrals.
It’s all so very pretty…love all of vintage ornaments that you have used.

Linda
