Here we go again! A couple weeks ago we painted the family room a dark gray color, which of course led to a need for a new dining room color. Isn’t that the way it goes at home? One change in one room leads to another change in another room. Say hello to Benjamin Moore’s…
I’m a sucker for an old farmhouse and was pleasantly surprised to find this new Vermont farmhouse is built on an old foundation to create a truly unique home. Salvaged pieces from the old home are incorporated into the new one throughout. I think you’re going to love it! Photo by Silver Maple Construction LLC…
Did any of you get out for some Black Friday specials last week? Hopefully you found some bargains and can now focus on your holiday decorating. I try to avoid the crowds and spent the Thanksgiving weekend finishing up my decor. Usually I have a plan, but ended up changing what I had in mind…
Would you like to see some of my favorite Christmas crafts that I’ve shared on my blog over the years? Last Saturday I shared some of my favorite vintage Christmas decor and a lot of you liked it. So I thought I’d do the same today with holiday crafts you can make yourself! Above are…
Do you love good thrift store finds as much as I do?  How would you feel if someone sent you thrifty finds to transform into something new and wonderful?  That’s exactly what’s going on right now during “Swap It Like It’s Hot” week, organized by the amazing Charlotte at Ciburbanity! This is the 3rd time I’ve been involved…

Love it all.
I love the simplicity of it all Jennifer. No fuss and clutter, just beautiful useful pieces and a lovely touch with the white glasses like your grans. Don’t you love it when you find thrifty finds that remind you of a time in your own childhood.
Very fresh looking, Jennifer! Love the simplicity of your table setting. The book page runner is very creative. We are going to our daughter’s for Christmas day also. I still have no idea what we are having Christmas Eve, but it will just be myself, hubby and our son so I’ll keep it easy and simple.
Jennifer, I LOVE your touches of Christmas in your dining room. I need to work on mine today. I just may borrow a few of your ideas. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas, Gail

Love the green and white. I have lots of red this year so this gave me the idea to do some white with all of it on the table. I have lots of white so no excuse to do the same old boring thing I always do.

Simple and festive, Jennifer. I love it!
So soft and pretty. I love the simple decor and what a great idea to decorate each plate with a couple of bulbs. The green looks perfect against the neutrals.
