Friday Finds #21: A Fun Surprise

Last Saturday was a special day. Not only was it Sweetest Day, but my son’s wife gave birth to their first baby! Say hello to Charlotte Joan – my fun surprise – who was only 6 pounds and 10 ounces. Her mama was in labor for about 8 hours. Not too bad for your first baby.

In about a month, my middle child will have her third child so our holidays are going to be filled with babies! I’m looking forward to it, but with the virus still hanging on to our country, there are some challenges that come along with visiting babies and keeping them safe. We’ll manage and get through it though.

Halloween is right around the corner and so far our little town still plans to allow trick-or-treating. I’ll figure out a way to hand out treats so the kiddos and their parents feel safe. So far I haven’t heard of any towns cancelling the event.

Let’s get on to Friday Finds for some inspiration and good feelings!
