Friday Finds #34: A Little of This and That

Hello friends and welcome to the upcoming weekend! I really don’t have much of anything new to report from the week other than the weather’s been surprisingly mild with a bit of snow. I hope February is the same.

This week’s Friday Finds:

Let’s start with this amazingly renovated home I spied over at Desire to Inspire. I think you’ll love it.

My friend Janet at Shabbyfufu lives in Miami and recently renovated her bathroom. She shares some of the demolition along with her resources.

A few years ago, fiddle leaf figs were all the rage in plant decor. But now I’m thinking – what about an olive tree? They’re so airy looking. Here’s a article on how to grow an olive tree indoors in case you’re in the mood to add one to your home.

Are you in the market for a new cupboard or hutch? Ashley at Little Glass Jars shares a collection of beautiful farmhouse style hutches.

I don’t know about you, but I like to bake during the winter months. This weekend I think I’ll make another batch of my banana nut chocolate chip muffins.

Hope you enjoyed this week’s inspiration!

  1. I added the banana chocolate chip muffin recipe to my Pinterest recipes. I’m thinking of sharing with the new neighbors, maybe? I absolutely loved that house renovation in SF. I think there was a great place to read a book in every spot of that house. A library space is something I’d like to create. An olive tree would be a great addition to my house plants and I do have a fiddle leaf fig named Fiddy that I’ve grown from a tiny twig I bought off Amazon. It is now almost 3′ tall. I’m not sure i have enough sun for an olive tree and giving it up in 9 years?? hmmm

  2. Wonderful post, Jennifer. That San Francisco home is to die for. I loved every fun room. Loved all of the hutches too. Thank you.

  3. I am so silly, i entered my comment on the wrong page, love these Friday finds wonderful way to spend a day. The house was beautiful and all the rest. thank you.

  4. Your Friday Finds are always so much fun! And so informational!
The renovated home was a tribute in design to bringing the outside in. However, I was a bit sad and taken back to see the American flag used in such a way that part of it was laying on the floor. The British designer and owners need to fix that no-no.
Janet’s bathroom reno is inspiring and your muffin recipe will be a great reward for the day that we come off our KETO diet!
