Lakeview Estate: Charming Home Tour

If you could have a house with a waterfront view, would you move? Today we’re touring a Lakeview Estate with breathtaking views from every window. The past couple of home tours have featured beautiful vistas – that just seems to be the type of homes I’m finding lately. Or maybe subconsciously I’m ready for warmer weather and spending time outside.

This stunning home was decorated by Tobi Fairley Interior Design. The glass-front top cabinets are a unique touch.

I love the soft colors she used in the kitchen.

Here’s a look at the amazing views from the living room windows. The pair of chairs is pretty, too.

Not to be outdone, the dining room sports the same spectacular view. The dining room shares the same soft color scheme as the kitchen.  Wood floors provide a warm touch underfoot.

A gorgeous built-in cabinet/butler’s bar creates ease in entertaining.

You can see that the Lakeview Estate has an open concept floor plan. Your eye flows easily across the space due to the consistent color scheme.

A surrounding grove of trees makes you feel like you’re in a tree house when spending time on the screened-in porch. I like how the designer used brown and green in this space – it blends right in with the outdoors.

Green and brown are repeated in a beautiful bedroom.

And colors from the kitchen and dining room are found in yet another bedroom. I love homes that flow from one room to another.

One of the bathrooms has a wonderful vanity with a place to put on your make-up or curl your hair.

And when you want to relax and unwind, you have a beautiful bathtub for lounging.

  1. Whew! So much to love. My favorites are the roman shade fabric in the kitchen, the green bed with the tall posts, the large framed map above the soaking tub, and those framed flowers on the walls adjacent to the sink in the bathroom. Lovely. Thanks for sharing.

  2. What a great place to live or even visit. I need to find someone who has a view like this, that I can visit with about 5 or 6 times a year. Lol!

  3. Makes me think of our views when we lived on lake in MT. Wow, what a gorgeous home, colors are breath taking bringing in outside. I could live on that screened in porch. Can get many ideas from this home tour, thanks for sharing. Not usually a yellow fan but how yellow was used is so well blended.
    Hope you had wonderful Easter

  4. What a view. I would eat at that dining table every night just to gaze out the windows. I love how they used warmer tones throughout the home, it really compliments their milieu.
