I hope you enjoyed today’s charming home tour. It’s a bit different than what I typically feature. I don’t know what it is but mid-century modern homes have always held a special place in my heart. Maybe because like historic homes, they have unique architectural details.

  1. The home is amazing, but it could be a shack sitting there with those views and it would be okay by me. I’ve always loved the mid-century modern style. There are so few left in my city ….

  2. That is a beautiful home, and lije others have said, the scenery is the star. Although I’m not a big fan of mid century, I can appreciate the beauty of that home.

  3. Reading back issues of your blog…this is stunning. Hubby and I were just saying today it would be fun to sell our big house and all the stuff and move into a simple contemporary updated mid century style home, maybe with a scandi touch, for our last few years.
