Even the laundry room shares a minimalist approach to decorating. A simple blue flower vase is all that’s needed to lend a bit of color, allowing the patterned floor and gray brick back splash to take center stage.

  1. I have a question. When I view so many of these pictures of living rooms/family rooms, they do not show any lighting. For example in the picture of the family room on this one, the sofa is featured; however, no lighting is in sight. I see this in full pictures of rooms all the time. Just wondering how they see in the dark……….. Hope this question does not sound too ignorant.

  2. Makes me want to streamline and declutter (again), but not to that extent. While I stay with neutral colors, I do require much more coziness. I need not worry that I will become a minimalist – its just not in my genes.

  3. As long as there are NO barn-doors or shiplap involved, I love what I see in this house so far, though I’m not a huge fan of that dark cupboard at the end of the kitchen island.
