One Pan Linguine Recipe

When it comes to comfort food, pasta is right up there on the top of my list! There are so many ways to make it … so many things you can do with it. I don’t really have a favorite type of pasta. I love them all. I recently discovered this One Pan Linguine Recipe that Martha Stewart made on her show.

One Pan Linguine Pasta RecipeHonestly, I was highly skeptical that you could throw all the ingredients into just one pan and have them transformed into a quality, Italian pasta dish. Good pasta recipes are supposed to take a lot of time and effort, after all.

One Pan Linguine RecipeI was willing to give it a go and threw everything into my big skillet.

How to make one pan linguineAdd the water, crank up the heat, and let the magic begin!

One Pan Pasta Recipe from Martha StewartAs the water comes to a boil, stir the ingredients around in the pan.

As the linguine cooked, I wasn’t sure all the water would boil down, but it did.

One Pan Linguine RecipeThis One Pan Linguine Recipe did not disappoint! Cooking pasta in the same pot with all the other ingredients allowed the linguine to soak up all those flavors while it boiled, adding to its depth of taste.

Easy One Pan Linguine RecipeThis is the perfect recipe to make after work or when you don’t have a lot of time.

It doesn’t taste like a hurried dish, though.

Easy-to-make one pan linguine recipeTrust me, One Pan Linguine is a recipe you’ll want to make over and over.

From cupboard to table in just 20 minutes, and oh so amazingly good! All it takes is one pan to make this tasty dish.

One Pan Linguine Recipe

12 ounces linguine
12 ounces grape tomatoes, halved
1 medium size sweet onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
1/2 teaspoon crushed red-pepper flakes
2 sprigs basil
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, plus more for serving
Sea salt and freshly ground pepper
4 1/2 cups water
Freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Combine all ingredients along with 2 teaspoons salt, 1/4 teaspoon pepper, and the water in a large skillet. Bring to a boil over high heat. Continue boiling and stirring until pasta is al dente and water has nearly evaporated, about 9 minutes.

Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve with oil and Parmesan cheese. Add basil for garnish, if desired.
