No doubt about it, I’m a huge fan of open shelving in the kitchen. I find I actually keep my open shelves more tidy than my closed cabinets, which is a good thing! Today I’m sharing open shelving ideas over at Live Creatively Inspired … but before you hop on over there, I thought I’d share open shelving ideas here on my blog, too. Most of the photos come from Houzz, which lets you embed photos that people have shared. How cool is that? Just click on the photo to go to the photo’s location at Houzz.
I’m kind of crushing on this color green that covers the floor-to-ceiling open shelving unit!
I’m also a huge fan of wood with white paint … and this open shelving unit is unique and pretty.
A pretty way to store useful items on open shelving is to use glass canisters or wire baskets.
I absolutely adore the rustic simplicity of this cottage kitchen! Sigh.
How about open shelving for the lower level? I couldn’t do this in my house. The kitties would have a field day with the stuff and would keep knocking it off the shelf so they could sit in there. Sometimes the cats are worse than kids!
Here’s some of the open shelving in my kitchen …
