Oyster Pond Estate: Charming Home Tour

farmhouse style, home tour December 16, 2021

It never ceases to amaze me how many beautiful homes are out in the world. Sometimes it’s the architecture that stands out, other times the interior decorating is the wow factor. Today’s Oyster Pond Estate has an amazing combination of the two! This home is so huge, they call it a compound. Choosing room photos to share with you was hard. I think you’re going to love today’s charming home tour built by Holmes Hole Builders LLC of Martha’s Vineyard.

Neutral Style Living Room

Because this home is so large, there are several living rooms to enjoy. This room is bright and airy with its over-sized windows and white walls. Pale blue furniture keeps a cool look when the sun shines in.

Farmhouse Family Room in Blue and White

A beautiful built-in bookcase frames the entry way to the farmhouse sunroom.

A pretty office space is tucked under a window with a French-inspired table and chair.

Here’s your dream farmhouse kitchen! A lot of people don’t like all-white kitchens, but the wood beams and dark floor keep the room from looking cold and sterile. A large pot rack keeps cooking utensils easy to retrieve.

Dream Farmhouse Kitchen

Antique chairs cozy up to a rustic table at the other end of the kitchen. Open shelving shows off favorite kitchen collectibles.

Eat-in Farmhouse Kitchen

A larger dining space provides room for the family to gather.

Rustic Farmhouse Dining Room

Here’s yet another dining room for a big gathering – perfect for Thanksgiving or Christmas dinners! I told you this was a really big house! This room also features painted ceiling beams, a built-in bookcase, large windows, and a pretty brick fireplace. Perfection.

Large Farmhouse Dining Room

A sitting area pairs warm wood floors and fresh white walls.

Who wants an office like this?  Set in a sunroom with an amazing ceiling and windows that show every view! Note how the pattern of the floor planks mimic the pattern of the ceiling.

Farmhouse Office

One of the numerous bedrooms enjoys a simple fireplace.

Another bedroom incorporates a pair of matching daybeds dressed in pretty fabric.

And yet another makes great space of a cozy alcove.
