This final stretch before Christmas is when I like to enjoy a bit of quiet time to reflect on the year and enjoy the simple contentment I find in life. For me, it’s therapeutic to recognize the small pleasures in life that tend to bring great joy. Sometimes that means slowing down to see the beauty in the graceful arch of evergreen tree branches outside the window. Or gazing at the Christmas tree and remembering the true meaning of the holiday. It’s often hard to find quiet moments in today’s busy world but I find myself looking for them more frequently. Here’s to hoping that you’ll find your own moments of peaceful reflection during this very special season.
