A renovated farmhouse receives a new lease on life when it’s infused with beautiful Scandinavian style that freshens the interior spaces. It’s a modern take on a style made so popular by Joanna Gaines of Fixer Upper.
The front porch is cool and serene with a classic hanging swing and charming boho chic chairs.
The renovated farmhouse has several doors leading into the house. Typical of Scandinavian homes, this door is painted cheery yellow.
The sun room features a paper lantern for lighting. My mother had a similar, larger light fixture over her dining room table.

The living room in the renovated farmhouse is clean and bright with minimalist style and slim wooden ceiling beams. Note the alcove shelving to the right.
The kitchen is also light and bright with shaker style cabinets and plenty of of windows.
The white washed brick chimney reveals the home’s farmhouse roots. The kitchen island is painted blue to bring a touch of color to the space.
The dining room is adjacent to the kitchen and features a simple wood table with boho chic style chairs on the left and a simple bench on the right.
The master bedroom brings in the use of color through pillows. Otherwise, the room is serene and monochromatic – with a touch of fluffy cuteness on the bed.
The focal point in the bathroom is the beautiful stained glass window above the tub. Look at the first picture showing the outside of the home and you’ll see pretty bathroom window.
