Simple Sunflower Arrangement

Sometimes in life, the simplest things are the best.

I like uncomplicated days filled with beauty.

Days that make me smile and fill me with peace.

Flowers help me de-stress, and a simple sunflower arrangement helps to brighten any day.

Simple Sunflowers Arranged in Wine BottlesSunflowers hold a special beauty all their own.

I don’t like to detract from their appeal by putting them in a fussy floral arrangement.

Their golden petals make them the perfect decorating choice for late summer or early fall.

Wine bottles as vasesI chose 3 wine bottles to serve as vases for the sunflowers.

The middle wine bottle was chosen for its label, the other two for their green hue.

Sunflowers make great home decor in late summer and early fall… or place them individually and let them shine on their own.

Either way, it’s a simple sunflower arrangement that just takes a few minutes of your time.

  1. So lovely! Thanks to you I have been buying Fresh flowers at Wally world. Working at a florist years ago I had it in my head that it was to big of a expense. They would charge $3 for a sprig of golden rod! Never thought of it till one day after one of your post. There are some nice bouquets for 5 dollars! I think Scott noticed how much I enjoy them. We were at store the other day and he said I feel like buying my wife some flowers today! lol.

  2. Jennifer, you seem to just have the magic touch. No matter what you do with flowers, it just looks beautiful and these sunflowers in the wine bottles is certainly no exception. You are able to show us how simple things can look exquisite! Thanks for sharing!

  3. You do know just how to show case anything to it’s beautification. I had to think while I typed that b word, lol.
Your sunflowers do look exceptionally lovely and so cheerful. I’ve never been one to enjoy a big full fancy flower arrangement but love the simple ones, always notice them much quicker and enjoy them much more.
There are several johnny jump ups out on edge of our road and just by our driveway, I’ve been commenting on cutting some to put in house but never seemed to get around to it. Little while ago hubs came in with a handful. So sweet. Appreciate little gestures like that from him. We don’t have money for many things now that we’re both retired but that’s ok, we’re together and try to drive each other to nut house regularly. lol. 24/7 can get to be a bit much for me sometimes. Before we moved to western CO he was a trucker and I was alone a lot for weeks at a time sometimes so got used to doing what I wanted when I wanted without comments. When hubs retired it was quite an adjustment for me. He likes to be boss all the time, I do too sometimes. It’s harder in winter as he’s stuck in house much more . We don’t have a garage or basement so no place to work on projects. I love him dearly but some days, well you know. Happy weekend Really loved your sun flowers.

  4. Can’t go wrong with sunflowers … Winter, Spring or Summer … always the right flower. I like your simple and enjoyable arrangements. I have maximilian daisy blooming right now and they look like miniature sunflowers.
