Small Colorful Kitchen with Patterned Floor
I’ll never forget my stay at a small Airbnb rental with a beautiful bathroom floor that continues to haunt me. The small bathroom has left me craving patterned floors ever since I saw it. Needless to say, I was delighted to find this pretty floor pattern in bluish gray and white inside today’s colorful kitchen by Fireclay Tile.
Â
This kitchen has so many amazing details throughout, starting with the floor of course. The next thing that caught my eye were the gorgeous gray-blue Shaker style kitchen cabinets with gold hardware.Â
Blue spruce subway tile creates a smooth transition from the cabinets to the open shelves against the white walls. Pops of red here and there add refreshing energy to the colorful kitchen.
Â
The stainless steel stove proudly displays red knobs, with a red Le Crueset sauce pot to match.
Â
Red and blue stoneware mugs populate the open shelves. A simple roll-up shade at the window allows ample sunlight during the day – there’s no curtains to obstruct the natural light.
Â
The golden gooseneck faucet is a piece of artistry all in itself. It’s like the crowning touch above the farmhouse sink.Â
Â
Blue and white dinnerware is displayed on white open shelves with gold brackets to match the cabinetry’s hardware.Â
Â
I love the unexpected red knobs on the stove. They add a whimsical touch to such a charming kitchen that’s beautifully done.

That tile is pretty and makes for a fun kitchen to work in. Thanks and have a great 4th of July.
Not my favorite kitchen even though it’s BLUE! But it has a clean and tidy look to it. I would probably love the floor in another space/kitchen for sure. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Jennifer. Oh my I love this kitchen too! The floor is a delight. I’ve always admired your green tile floor in your kitchen. Hope you are enjoying the holidays.
I love this kitchen! The more pattern the better, in my book. : ) It’s charming, fun, and functional. Blessings for your day!
