Southern Beach House with Natural Light

One of my favorite styles of homes is a beautiful Southern beach house! I have many fond memories from vacationing in the low country of South Carolina and looking at the gorgeous architecture. Today’s beach house by T.S. Adams Studio is a fresh adaptation of old Southern charm.

In true Southern fashion, the beach house enjoys a double decker porch with haint blue ceilings. Such a pretty place to sip iced tea and watch the world go by.

Transom windows above the front door allow plenty of natural light to shine in. I love the natural wood ceilings and the way they add warmth to the entryway.

What a gorgeous dining room. Everything from the chandelier to the wall of French doors to the pretty dining table and chairs.

A cozy nook serves as a home office. Soft blue and white fabric lends softness to the sunny spot.

Rustic wood ceiling beams add texture in the kitchen, along with the metal range hood.

Sandy color decorates one of the bedrooms in the Southern beach home. Paired with white, it’s fresh and restful.

A kids bedroom adds a bit of blue to the sandy color to reflect the beach. A light fixture mimics a floating fish ball. And what kid wouldn’t love the built-in bunk beds?

A screened-in porch provides ample room to enjoy the outdoors without the nuisance of swatting away bugs. A fireplace warms things up on cool evenings. Such a beautiful house!

A screened-in porch looks like a wonderful resting area and is definitely something you don’t meet every day.
