Teal-Colored Kitchen Cabinets Create Cheer

Teal-colored kitchen cabinets can’t help but create a joyful space for meal preparation and cooking. Add a fun-patterned wall and you’ve got a perfect recipe for a happy kitchen like this one by Victoria Sheffield.

Clusters of pendant lights shine down on the large kitchen island with pretty wood bar stools and upholstered seats. A few glass-front cabinet doors enhance the custom look of this fun kitchen. A beautiful wooden bowl cradles healthy fruit on the island for easy snacking.

I’m not positive, but I think the patterned wall is wallpaper and not tile. The project at Houzz didn’t specify – but either way, it adds a cheerful vibe. The custom hood vent above the large stove creates an appealing focal point.

Open shelves allow for favorite cookbooks and decorative items to be on display.  A small sconce light adds illumination above the farmhouse sink.

How could you start the day in a bad mood when this fun kitchen greets you in the morning for your cup of coffee? A lot of detail and thought has gone into its design.

  1. I was way ahead of a trend when we remodeled our kitchen 10 years ago…one wall is this teal color and the opposite wall is a buttery yellow. I added a red door to the utility room behind the kitchen, and red trim to other doors…I must say, I love cooking in my kitchen !

  2. It is a pretty kitchen and I loved the open shelves between the cabinets. My parents kitchen was this color back in the 70’s.

  3. I really like this kitchen and if that is wallpaper, think how easily the whole look could be changed simply by changing the wallpaper! Smart, smart, smart. Thanks for sharing 🙂

  4. I wouldn’t normally be a fan of that color, but I must say I really do like it in this kitchen. Very cheerful. Beautiful kitchen.

  5. Teal is my favorite color so II love the color and the cabinetry, granite, lights, and other details, but for me the wallpaper is just a bit too busy and overpowering for me.
