Texas Stone Ranch ~ Charming Home Tour

Have I got a beauty for you today!  I love this charming Texas stone ranch I found over at Houzz. It has loads of rustic appeal paired with farmhouse style. Not only that, but you’ll find plenty of drama too with its vaulted ceilings and heavy beams. By the way, you won’t be able to pin these photos to Pinterest because they’re embedded from the Houzz website. But if you click on the photos, you’ll be taken to the image over at Houzz.

Step in the front door of this Texas stone ranch and you’ll be greeted by a gilded mirror, shiplap walls, and a beautiful wooden love seat. I love the stain on the front door along with its large window.

A gorgeous stone fireplace stretches up to the vaulted ceiling and mimics the triangular shape of the beams overhead. Cozy seating in neutral tones invites you to come on in and enjoy the glowing fire.

Rustic beams continue into the spacious kitchen that any chef would love to cook in. Note how the finish of the kitchen island complements the beams overhead. Metal pendant lights and hanging pots and pans replicate the sheen of the stainless steel appliances.

A wood-stained window and flanking sconces draw your eye toward the kitchen sink. Subway tile and shiplap walls emphasize this Texas stone ranch’s farmhouse style.

A cozy corner in the kitchen serves double duty as a breakfast nook and game area.

In the dining room, a stone wall adds texture and interest, while stone crocks filled with field flowers add a bit of color. The rustic top of the dining room’s farm table is what I’m looking for in my own dining room.

A rough hewn wood ceiling in the master bedroom immediately makes the room feel cozy and perfect for a winter night’s slumber. The wood bed matches the strength of the ceiling but is softened with plenty of bedding textiles.

This bedroom with its inviting metal bed sports a fun loft overhead. Tile floors and more shiplap walls continue the farmhouse appeal of this Texas stone ranch.

A charming double vanity takes center stage in the bedroom. I love that the windows in this home keep the natural wood for the framed mullions, while the outer trim is painted to match the shiplap.

A rustic Dutch door calls you to venture outside and enjoy the southern views rocking in that comfy wicker rocking chair.

Would you ever shower outside? This stone shower creates privacy and I would love to shower here!

  1. This home is gorgeous, Jennifer. It’s rustic but also has the cottage style elements that I love along with some feminine touches. Btw – I was catching up on your recent posts and you mentioned that your hubby grew up in Pittsburgh so I just had to mention that mine did as well. We are big Steelers fans and we travel to Pittsburgh often to visit family. Have a good Sunday!

  2. Okay – I’m swooning. How gorgeous is this home! And to top it off, that outdoor stone shower… mind blown.
    Thanks for sharing! Love it.
