Veggie Valentines for You!

Join us for Veggie Valentines! During the month of February, my daughter over at Flour N Friends and I
will be cookin’ up veggie dishes every Monday … just for YOU! Kale, Butternut Squash, Broccoli, Carrots,
Swiss Chard, and who knows what else?

We’re celebrating these wonderful super foods by cookin’ up a batch every week and sharing
the recipes and photos with you every Monday during the month of February.
Heart healthy Veggie Valentines that we hope you’ll share with your family …
February is all about hearts, after all.  {smile}
Here’s some homemade spaghetti sauce made from fresh-picked tomatoes in my veggie garden
and canned so we can enjoy its sunny splendor during the dreary, gray months of winter.
Oh, how I miss my vegetable garden and the fruits of my labor (and hubby’s labor).
Tomatoes … fruit or veggie?  To me it’s a veggie.
And leeks! I LOVE Leeks! A nice, mild onion to add to your recipes.
And mushrooms. Lots of mushrooms! So many from which to choose.
A little flat leaf parsley … also from the garden. Spice and variety is abundant when cookin’ up veggies!
And so my daughter and I are cookin’ up Veggie Valentines just for you!
Did I mention my daughter studied for over 2 years at a culinary institute?

Mmmmmm. Roasted tomatoes!
I hope you’ll join us every Monday in February to partake in our Veggie Valentine recipes.
Stop back here or hop on over to Flour N Friends on February 6th.
