Quality wood cabinets wrap the walls of the expansive kitchen but the space is light due to large windows above the sink.

Wrap around windows create a beautiful sunroom with a bead board ceiling and vintage light fixture. The room has a bit of a boho chic vibe. You might remember that people loved their houseplants during the Victorian era. To have a solarium was the epitome of Victorian living.

Pink is a popular color choice for Victorian homes and this one doesn’t disappoint with its floral wallpaper and pink velvet tufted sofa. An oriental print draws the eye upward to the intricate trim work.

It wouldn’t be a true stately Victorian without a grand staircase!

  1. What a gorgeous home! I always wanted a Victorian when I was much younger. At seventy-one, think I’ll stick to a ranch home…no stairs. Enjoy your Sunday.

  2. I have to agree with Donna, Victorians are beautiful but I’m 76 and need all one level. I fell in love with this Victorian’s sun room. I’ve always wanted a home with one to decorate with lots of plants and and outdoor-type furniture. We always want what we don’t have, right? Thanks for posting this amazing home.

    1. You don’t have to have a two story home to have the aesthetics of a Victorian Home. I have a ranch style, but when you walk inside, you feel your in an old Victorian Home. I’m also 75 and enjoying my Victorian Home.

  3. I think Victorians are my most favorite homes. They are so beautiful on the outside as well. The sunroom was absolutely gorgeous in this home.

  4. I am in love with this home and any victorian, they were and are such a beautifully built design inside or outside. They always have surprises around each and every corner. Thank you.

  5. Love everything about this house! Their decisions about what millwork to paint and what not are right on as are the wallpaper choices. Just perfect. When can I move in?!

  6. We had a large Victorian house in upstate N.Y and it was great. We were in our 20s with no money but we had such a good time renovating the house on a shoestring budget. Now we are much older, retired and live in the southeast in a one floor home with much less upkeep but oh it was fun to live in a 14 room historical house when we were young.
