Stunning White Beach Style Kitchen with Patterned Blue Wallpaper

We’ve been talking about how wallpaper is making its appearance once again, and today we’ll see how pretty it looks in a fresh, white, beach style kitchen. Lots of windows provide sunny appeal and leave you feeling like you should be whipping up a healthy salad before heading outdoors for a nature walk.

You can see from this more panoramic view that the blue and white beach style kitchen has a nice flow to it. The cooking space on the right with the wallpapered breakfast nook on the left in the back. A larger dining table is in the foreground. The layout is great if you need to seat people at more than one table. You can all still be in the same space without feeling cramped.

The dining table also serves as a temporary office area. I use my dining room table this same way. Often I’m working on blog posts from my lap top. Why relegate a larger table for use only when company is around?

The dark blue wallpaper makes the breakfast nook feel cozy while white trim and soft Roman shades keep the space feeling light and cheerful. A built-in banquette adds a custom vibe.

Brushed gold hardware in the beach style kitchen lends just the right amount of elegance and small open shelves lend easy access to often used dinnerware and serving pieces.

A black metal pendant light echoes the color of the cross-back dining chairs at the wooden table. A brushed gold tray on the table continues the hardware theme from the cooking space.

I think this kitchen is so fresh and inviting, and I think it would suit a lot of home decor styles, too. What do you think? Are you a fan?

  1. I would enjoy all that bright light from those wonderful windows. I wonder what the flooring is made of? I really like the natural look of it. I too use our dining table as a work space. I can stretch out all my things and have room for coffee. That wood table looks hand made and really mixes well with the pops of gold accents. Farm boy meets fancy pants! That really makes the space.

  2. I had wallpaper similar to this in my Wilmington DE home in the late 1990s. I did not realize it was back i style.

  3. We are redoing our kitchen next year, an entire gut job. I don’t care about dark green, navy, whatever cabinets. I want a beautiful white kitchen like this. This is gorgeous, I love all the windows. I would also like to know the name of that flooring.
