Decorating with Flowers and Hiding a Washer Hookup: Style Showcase #152
What do hydrangeas, mums, dried flowers, and a washer hook-up have in common? They’re all part of today’s Style Showcase features. I’m sharing outdoor fall decorations as I get my pond and gardens ready for cooler weather. Especially the pond because I have an outdoor photo shoot Thursday featuring the pond. It’s for my day job – they need new photography and I’m happy to oblige. But for now, let’s see what’s in store for Style Showcase.

I’m not mad about the Southern Hospitality Limelight Hydrangea, though it’s certainly unusual. I prefer the much commoner blue or white. BUT I am longing for the woven basket in which the vase stands. So much so that I have just been driven to scroll through all the basket listings on a UK site seeking something similar – alas, in vain. At least I can adopt the hack of decorating with pine cones. No shortage of them over here.
