Beautiful White and Pale Blue Living Rooms Create Serenity
Tomorrow my new love seat arrives and I’m so excited. The living room is coming together slowly but surely. I’m taking my time finding just the right pieces, as opposed to rushing into the decorating process just to get it done. I’ve been browsing inspiration photos and came across a collection of beautiful white and pale blue living rooms and I want to share a few of them with you.
Whenever you see pale blue and white in a space, it instantly feels calming and relaxing. It looks like pale gray was used on the top half of the walls, with blue accents in the pillows, chair, and upholstered bench in front of the fireplace. The pillows incorporate a nice mix of patterns.
A similar style traditional living room uses blue drapes and fainting couch to add a punch of color to the light and airy space. Like the living room above, this one enjoys a coffered ceiling. Yellow and green make great accent colors for a blue and white color scheme, like you see in the pillows and the arm chair upholstery.
In this classic living room, a tufted blue ottoman gives a pop of color in the center of the room. The views outside look amazing from this space.

When you have a waterfront view, white and pale blue living rooms lend themselves perfectly to the outdoor scenery. The slipcovers on the accent chairs appear to be the palest shade of blue. But taking a second look, maybe they’re actually white. Oh well – the room is still pretty enough to include and you do see the blue water from inside the room.

Blue is a perfect accent color for tan and white, creating a serene coastal style living room. Blue is like the water and sky while tan mimics the color of a sandy beach.

Baby blue paint coats the top half of the wall in this serene living space with a pretty fireplace and geometric-patterned curtains. A darker blue is used on the accent chairs and area rug.
A cozy corner with plantation shutters enjoys a light and airy vibe with a white loveseat and a blue patterned lamp and pillows. It feels so light and fresh.
Here’s another family room with the palest of blue slipcovers on the side chairs. Serene paintings of the ocean add to the calmness and serenity of the space.

Our final example of white and pale blue living rooms features another traditional style space with a coffered ceiling. I think today’s collection goes to show that you really can’t go wrong with a blue and white color scheme.
