DIY Ornaments, Spectacular Table Settings, and More: Style Showcase
Who had snow this weekend? The Chicago western ‘burbs had a light dusting of the fluffy stuff and it’s already melted under the sun. The snowfall was appropriate for the weekend because I put up my Christmas tree! I debated back and forth about tackling that task and finally caved to the holiday spirit. I’m even adding some festive touches throughout my home and will do a Christmas tour here on the blog within the next couple of weeks, so stay tuned. But for now, see today’s inspiration here on Style Showcase:
Southern Hospitality | Christmas in Historic Williamsburg
Visiting Williamsburg during the holiday season has been on my bucket list for a while now. Thankfully, I can live vicariously through Rhoda until I make that dream a reality. I love all the decorations in the historic district.

Town and Country Living | Easy DIY Vintage Santa Ornaments
This project from a couple of years ago is one of the easiest ornament-making sessions I’ve tackled and I love the look of these simple vintage Santas on the tree. See how to make your own – I’ve included the printables to download!

Duke Manor Farm | Gold Tablescape
Gold seems like the perfect palette for a fall or Thanksgiving table setting. Check out Laura’s seasonal table and walk away with new ideas for your own festivities.

Finding Silver Pennies | Found and Foraged Tablescape
And speaking of festive tables, Danielle has the perfect solution for an earthy and organic approach to table setting.

Are you hosting Thanksgiving this year? I am, and I just ordered a few more Windsor-style dining chairs to accommodate my growing family. This way, no one has to sit in an awkward place to eat. The table will be especially cozy this year!
