Do you have any plans for the holiday weekend, or will you be like me and keep things simple and carefree?
We are looking forward to a “summer’s at the lake” reunion with a small group we grew up with. Some of the group have not seen each other since 1971. Two are veterans- one served as a Marine NCO in Vietnam and the other was in Intelligence in Germany during the Vietnam years. We are all HUGE patriots and looking forward to catching up, grilling steaks, watching old slides from our lake days and churning up our old “every evening special treat”- homemade Peach Ice Cream. God, Thank you for a nation that gave us memories and keeps us safe enough to continue celebrating those memories. Please bless the USA.
