9 Outdoor Fireplace Ideas

I’m on a fire theme this week! Thursday I featured some cool fire pits and today I’m sharing nine gorgeous outdoor fireplace ideas! There’s a reason for my recent attraction to outdoor fire. I’m not a fan of winter but I have an idea that might help me warm up to it a bit.

But first, let’s check out these gorgeous outdoor fireplaces. I love the tall stately one above with its rustic cabin appeal. But I also love the short fireplace below with its cozy patio and pergola.

The idea of an outdoor fireplace protected by a roof overhead is very appealing. You could sit outside during a gentle rain or snow, watch the fire crackle, and not have to worry about the weather.

The stone fireplace below looks like it could have been added after the house was built. The texture of the fireplace, siding, and stone patio all go together beautifully creating a cohesive theme.

I’m totally smitten with this large stone fireplace on a farmhouse porch. I can envision lots of evenings spent here by the fire – even when the snow is flying outside.

So back to my newfound attraction to fire. To help me enjoy winter more, I’ve purchased a few items from Barebones Living for cooking outdoors even when it’s snowing. I’ll share a post about my new finds from this company – along with whether my strategy helped for enjoying the cooler, shorter days!

  1. There are some truly lovely ones, my son has one on his back patio that has a roof. I was smitten by the same one you were smitten by, it was so cozy and perfect.

  2. Love these fireplaces but I think the ones with the roof overhead are the nicest. Like you said it wont matter the weather and you can still enjoy the outdoors all nice and cozy.
